Victorville opens self-serve kiosks

Victorville has opened four self-service kiosks designed to make it easier for residents to pay their sanitation and water bills.

Two kiosks are inside city hall, 14343 Civic Center Drive, and can be used by anyone who wants to avoid standing in line, according to a statement on the city’s website.

City Hall is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

The other two kiosks are in the city hall north parking lot and are open 24 hours a day. Customers can use the kiosks to review account balances and make full or partial payments. All four facilities accept cash, check or credit card and accommodate English or Spanish-speaking patrons.

Victorville used CARES Act funding to buy the kiosks from CityBase in Chicago, which makes technology for governments and utilities, according to the statement.
