Vitamin maker lands in Norco

A vitamin manufacturing company has leased four industrial buildings in Norco, where it expects to employ more than 600 people.

Goli Nutrition, maker of Gummy Vitamins, will occupy four buildings at 3300-3390 Horseless Carriage Drive that combined cover more than 425,000 square feet, said Paul Earnhart, a senior vice president with Lee & Associates Ontario.

Terms of the 10-year lease, which was signed in March after several months of negotiations, were not disclosed.

The buildings, which had to meet regulations set by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration,  range from 80,000 to 159,000 square feet.

“They outgrew their facility in Los Angeles and needed more space, so they moved out,” said Jeff Ruscigno, a senior vice president with Lee & Associates and a member of the negotiating team, regarding Goli Nutrition. “There will be some distribution, but mostly they’re going to use it for manufacturing.”

CapRock Partners, an industrial investment and development company in Newport Beach, owns all four structures and will be the landlord.

Goli Nutrition will be the first to occupy the buildings, which were completed at the end of last year.

No move-in date has been announced. However, about 300 people are expected to work there initially, and that number is expected to grow to 600 or 700 employees during the first two years, according to Ruscigno.
