Stater Bros. Charities will host its 10th annual Believe Walk Sunday in Redlands.
The event is expected to raise about half a million dollars for Inland Empire-based cancer-fighting organizations, said Marisa Kutansky, spokeswoman for the non-profit entity of Stater Bros. Markets Inc.
Inland Women Fighting Cancer is co-sponsoring the walk, which will begin at State and Orange streets in the heart of downtown, then follow a five-kilometer route to the Redlands Bowl.
Registration and pre-walk festivities are scheduled to begin at 6:30 a.m., followed by a pre-walk program at 7:45 a.m. The walk, which will happen rain or shine, will start at 8 a.m.
Festivities will end with the Believe Bash at the Redlands Bowl.
Free parking will be available at several locations, including Redlands Mall, the public parking structure at Citrus Avenue and the public parking lot off Redlands Avenue.
Since 2008, the Believe Walk has raised approximately $4.1 million to help fight cancer, Kutansky said.
