Warehouse-distribution center finished

Construction on a 600,000 square foot warehouse-distribution center in Riverside has been completed.

The speculative project, at 14600 Innovation Drive, was developed by Newcastle Partners Inc. in San Francisco and is part of Meridian Business Park, according to a statement.

The building, on the west side of Interstate 215, has no signed tenants but has already a “significant” amount of interest from several parties, according to Jackson Smith, a partner with Newcastle Partners and the head of the company’s west operations.

Chuck Belden and Phil Lombardo of Cushman & Wakefield Ontario are the leasing agents on the project, according to the statement.

Newcastle Partners a real estate investment and development company that was founded in 1999. It concentrates on industrial, office and business park projects in California, and it owns or has developed more than $728 million worth of properties, according to the statement.
