A Palm Springs-based company has started a website designed to help people franchise their business.
TEAM Rennick, which uses algorithms and other information to develop custom franchise plans for businesses, launched teamrennick.com to help people get started in franchising, the company announced Thursday.
“If you’re thinking about franchising your business or looking to expand your franchise footprint, let me help you win the franchise game,” said Dick Rennick, the company’s chief executive officer, said in a statement. “I’m your business coach.”
Rennick is a recognized expert in franchising. He founded American Leak Detection, a Palm Springs company that pioneered finding leaks in pipes without having to dig them up otherwise destroy property to get at them.
That company grew into 366 franchise units in 44 states and 12 foreign countries before Rennick sold it 10 years ago. Since then he has concentrated on helping entrepreneurs franchise their businesses, according to the statement.
