A 77,000-square-foot indoor retail center in San Jacinto is on the market.
Farmer’s Corner is available for $4.3 million, according to Progressive Real Estate Partners in Rancho Cucamonga, the real estate brokerage marketing the property.
Built in 1980, the western-themed shopping mall at 2500 S. San Jacinto Ave. is owned by a family in Los Angeles whose name was not released. The property is 40 percent occupied, with a breakfast restaurant, jeweler, dentist, barber, party supply store and professional offices in its tenant mix.
Farmer’s Corner’s vacant space includes 9,000 square feet once occupied by Acapulco Restaurant, ground floor retail spaces and second-story offices. Its outdoor courtyard can be used for dining, fitness and community events, and more than 26,000 vehicles pass by the site on a typical day.
Progressive, which specializes in Inland retail properties, is making the retail center available for well below replacement cost. The company has produced a short video on the property and has conducted several tours, said Mike Lin, vice president of investment sales.
“It’s a unique property,” said Lin, who is marketing the property along with Greg Bedell, also a vice president of investment sales. “There’s definitely some interest in it.”
