Snow Valley, one of Southern California’s best-known winter resorts, is scheduled to open in tomorrow.
Located in Running Springs in the San Bernardino National Forest, Snow Valley will begin operating at 9 a.m. Friday, with full-day lift hours scheduled for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays and 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends, according to a statement.
Morning half days will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., afternoon half days from noon to 4.p.m. Night skiing is scheduled to start the day after Christmas.
A second rental facility has been added that will serve groups and Snow Valley’s Children’s Learning Center, and the resort has upgraded its Wi-Fi with the ViaSat2 satellite network, which provides Wi-Fi to Air Force One.
Snow Valley, which boasts a summit of 7,800 feet and 240 acres of skiable property, remains the only ski resort in Southern California with a six-person chair lift, according to the statement.
