On The Move

Shannon Weidauer has been named vice president of human resources and talent management at Pechanga Resort & Casino.

Weidauer has worked at the resort for four years, having started as director of human resources operations, according to a statement on the Pechanga website.

The resort, named the top facility of its kind in the United States by USA Today two years ago, is planning a $285 million expansion that’s expected to be finished by the end of the year. Weidauer will oversee the hiring of approximately 750 new employees during that effort, according to the statement.
