Stater Bros. reopened stores in Apple Valley, Corona, Fontana, Lake Elsinore, Moreno Valley and Palm Desert Wednesday.
Each of the six locations held a “grand reopening” ceremony after undergoing major interior renovations, including upgraded fruit stations, expanded selections of wine and beer, energy efficient LED lighting and new laminated wood floors, according to a statement.
Each store also donated $2,500 to a charity in their respective community, a Stater Bros. custom when it opens or reopens a store.
The store location are 12253 Apple Valley Road in Apple Valley, 2243 Eagle Glen Parkway in Corona, 11225 Sierra Avenue in Fontana, 32281 Mission Trail in Lake Elsinore, 14425 Moreno Beach Drive in Moreno Valley at 78210 Varner Road in Palm Desert.
All six stores will continue to operate from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. seven days a week.
Based in San Bernardino, Stater Bros. is the largest privately owned supermarket chain in Southern California and largest private employer in the Inland Empire. It operates 172 stores and employs approximately 17,000 people, according to the statement.
