Michael Vu has been named an assistant executive officer with San Bernardino County.
Vu has more than 28 years executive experience, including nearly 18 years as assistant chief administrative officer with San Diego County, according to a statement on San Bernardino County’s website.
In his new position, Vu will oversee agriculture/weights and measures, the county library and museum systems, project and facilities management, public works, regional parks and the registrar of voters.
“I am so excited to come aboard and advance the vision of the Board of Supervisors and Chief Executive Officer Luther Snoke and rolling up my sleeves with the 20,000-plus county employees to serve the residents of the county,” Vu said.
