Casa Colina recognized for Medicare, Medicaid programs

Casa Colina Hospital has received a five-star rating in the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Overall Hospital Quality report for 2020.

The Pomona hospital is among nearly nine percent of hospitals nationwide to receive five stars—the highest possible score—out of more than 4,500 Medicare-certified hospitals surveyd, according a statement.

The overall hospital rating is meant to improve the information posted on Hospital Compare, a website designed to help Medicare and Medicaid users decide where to receive care.

“We are honored to be recognized by CMS as one of the top hospitals nationwide for overall quality of care and patient experience,” said Felice L. Loverso, Casa Colina president and chief execute officer, in the statement. “Recognition like this are the direct result of Casa Colina’s commitment to clinical excellence and the unflagging dedication of its employees.”
