A company that sells and distributes outdoor grills and grilling accessories has leased 65,000 square feet of industrial space in Riverside.
Royal Gourmet Corp. of Peachtree Corners, Ga. expects to move into the space at Hunter Highland Corporate Center this September, according to a statement.
The 211,160-square-foot building is at 799 Palmyrita Ave. It will be Royal Gourmet’s west coast distribution headquarters.
Five to 10 people are expected to work there. Financial terms of the 74-month lease were not released.
Avison Young Ontario represented Royal Gourmet in the negotiations. Lee & Associations represented the landlord, LBA Realty in Irvine.
“This marks Royal Gourmet Corp.’s first western states location,” said Cody Lerner, a senior vice president with Avison Young and a member of the negotiating team, in the statement. “The company’s sales have been rising over recent years and especially over the past few months as people are doing more grilling at home.
“This new location enables the company to be more cost and time efficient when distributing products to its western region customer base.”
