Inland Center Mall reopened Monday, three days after Gov. Gavin Newsom announced safety guidelines that allow some businesses to return to work.
The mall now has more cleaning and sanitizing procedures, with a focus on “touch points,” to make sure guests and employees are comfortable, according to a statement.
Inland Center will also use advanced filters in its heating and air conditioning system, and signs and other safeguards have been installed to make certain social distancing rules are followed.
“We are looking forward to seeing our retail partners and welcoming local shoppers back to Inland Center Mall,” the statement reads. “More than ever, people are ready to safely get back to the places and activities they’ve been missing and we are excited to be a big part of this.”
