Apple Valley will provide an in-person site for early voting in the general election.
Starting Oct. 19, voting will take place at the Town Recreation Center at Town Hall, 14995 Dale Evans Parkway, according to a statement on the town’s website.
The polling place will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on weekdays and from 6:30 a.m to 9 p.m. on Nov. 3, election day. The center will be closed on Sundays and Saturday, Oct. 24.
“This election, like every election, is an important moment in our nation, and our community. I want to encourage our residents, especially our youth, to get out and vote,” said Mayor Scott Nassif in the statement.
“What can you do to serve your community? Vote. It is the fundamental duty of being an American citizen.”
