Tesla, the electric automobile and clean-energy corporation, is coming to San Bernardino.
The Palo Alto-based company will occupy a 320,000-square-foot warehouse at 19640 Cajon Blvd., according to a statement on the city’s Facebook page.
What it will do there is not clear. The posting notes that the building covers more than 20 acres and has 5,000 square feet of office space, but it doesn’t say how Tesla plans to use the structure.
“The city wants to welcome Tesla to San Bernardino,” the posting reads. “We are thrilled to welcome Tesla to the list of Fortune 500 companies with operations located in San Bernardino, bringing business and job opportunities to our local economy.
“We welcome having Tesla added as a community and business partner.”

Tesla is negotiating with the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority to build the Ontario Airport, a four-mile underground transit system that would run from the Metrolink Station in Rancho Cucamonga to Ontario International Airport.
