Casa Colina Hospital in Pomona has been named one of the top patient-recommended hospital in the United States.
At least 93 percent of the rehabilitative care hospital’s patients would “definitely recommend” the facility to family and friends,” according to a recent survey by the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers & Systems.
That places Casa Colina in the top one percent of the 3,400 hospitals surveyed in the United States. It was the only hospital in Southern California, and one of two statewide, to earn that distinction.
“This score is indicative of the highest levels of patient satisfaction,” said Felice Loverso, Casa Colina’s president and chief executive officer, in a statement. “With a strong culture of patient safety and a staff dedicated to providing the best possible care experience, Casa Colina continues to distinguish itself as a premier provider both regionally and nationally.”
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ surveys patients regarding their opinion of their hospital care. This survey is based information gathered in 2019.
