Amazon Fresh will open in Murrieta May 5, the chain’s first Inland Empire location.
The 35,000-square-foot store at 40481 Murrieta Hot Springs Road will feature the company’s “Just Walk Out” technology, according to multiple reports.
That format bypasses the traditional checkout stand. Instead, shoppers pay by scanning a credit card linked to their store account and scanning it again as they leave with their purchase.
Amazon Fresh offers mostly standard grocery store items. It’s opening five other Southern California stores, including one in La Verne scheduled to debut April 28.
I look forward to seeing what this new store will offer! And of course, what kind of prices they have! (?)
