UC Riverside has been ranked among the top 1.3 percent of universities worldwide in the 2025 Center for World University rankings.
The university ranked 268 out of 21,462 universities globally, and 82 in the United States, the same domestic ranking as it received last year, according to a statement on UC Riverside’s website.
The Center for World University Rankings is a consulting firm in the United Arab Emirates. Its evaluations are based on the education or academic success of a school’s graduates, the professional success of its alumni, faculty with top academic distinctions, and research output.
UC Riverside has been placed in the top 1.3 percent of universities throughout the world for seven consecutive years, according to the statement.
