Stater Bros. to raise money for military

Stater Bros. Charities and Reyes Coca-Cola are presenting the Give Back program this month in honor of National Military Appreciation Month.

During the program, Reyes Coca-Cola – the soft drink’s distributor in 10 states, including California – will donate 25 cents per product purchased to the Bob Hope USO, according to a statement on Stater Bros.’ Website.

The goal is to raise $15,000, a figure Stater Bros. Charities has agreed to match, for total of $30,000.  Products include Coke, Coke Zero, and Diet Coke

“Stater Bros. Markets was founded by World War II veterans, so nurturing our veterans, military, and their families is embedded in our company’s culture,” said Danielle Oehlman, director Stater Bros. Charities, in the statement. “We’re incredibly grateful to partner with our generous customers, teammates, and friends at Reyes Coca-Cola to further the vital work of the Bob Hope USO, ensuring local service members get the assistance they need and deserve,” added Danielle.

Give Back is scheduled to run through May 31.
