Ontario International Airport has been lauded for its branding and marketing efforts by the Airports Council International-North America.
The airport recently won the council’s top honor for marketing by a medium-sized airport, and it was the only airport in that category recognized for brand identity communications, according to a statement on Ontario International’s website.
“The Ontario International Airport leadership and staff are dedicated to creating an international aviation gateway for Southern California, and delivering a customer service experience that is second to none in the marketplace,” said Atif Elkadi, chief executive officer of the Ontario International Airport Authority, in the statement.
Ontario International is one of three California airports to win awards in the council’s 2022 Excellence in Airport Marketing, Communications and Customer Experience Awards program.
Long Beach Airport and Oakland International Airport won for their digital advertising and newsletter, respectively.
