UC Riverside has been ranked among the top universities in the world by the Center for World University Rankings, a consultancy in the United Arab Emirates.
Released Monday, the rankings placed UC Riverside 252 out of 20,531 universities, putting it in the top 1.3 percent of institutions of higher learning, according to a statement on the university’s website.
The annual rankings are based on education, job placement, faculty, and research. No other Inland Empire university made the 2023 list.
UC Riverside has been ranked in the top 1.3 percent, or better, for the past five years, according to the statement.
