Two retailers will soon be setting up shop for the first time in Apple Valley: Sprouts Farmers Market and Love’s Travel Stops and Country Store.
Sprouts will be built on the south side of Bear Valley Road east of Apple Valley Road, according to a statement on the town’s website.
Love’s Travel will be developed at the northeast corner of Interstate 15 and Stoddard Wells Road. It will be Apple Valley’s first major retailer to locate along that part of the interstate.
Both projects are expected to break ground early next year.
“We are proud to welcome the High Desert’s first ground-up Sprouts Farmers Market to Apple Valley,” said Mayor Scott Nassif in the statement. “Shoppers will be able to access a diverse selection of fruits and vegetables, high-quality meats and seafood, and a variety of natural and organic groceries that our residents have long asked for.”
Love’s Travel will include a fuel station/convenience store, a fast-food restaurant, a maintenance building, and an RV park. Combined, those amenities will cover nearly 26,000 square feet.
Sprout’s grocery store will cover nearly 40,000 square feet. It will be in a shopping center that will have a multi-tenant retail shop with a drive-thru and two pads for drive-thru restaurants, according to the statement.
