Lynne Kennedy, Rancho Cucamonga’s mayor pro tem, has been selected first vice president of the League of California Cities board of directors.
A lifelong public servant, Kennedy began serving her one-year term Sept. 22, according to a statement released by California Cities.
“It is with great honor that I take my place among the leadership team of the League of California Cities,” Kennedy said in the statement. “I am committed to furthering California Cities’ mission to protect local decision-making and educate city officials.”
Since 2021, Kennedy has been involved with California Cities, participating in its Transportation, Communications, and Public Works Policy Committee. She has also served on its Inland Empire Division Legislative Task Force.
