Construction has begun on a Walmart Supercenter in Eastvale.
A groundbreaking ceremony was held March 20 at 14100 Limonite Ave., future site of the 171,000 square-foot store, according to a statement on the city’s website.
The store, which will include a 16-pump gas station, will create approximately 300 jobs. It is expected to open next spring.
“We are excited to have broken ground on our newest Supercenter, which will be the first Walmart in the city,” said Frankie Ahumada, Walmart regional general manager, in the statement. “We are also steadfast in our commitment to being a strong and dedicated partner to the Eastvale community.”
Besides the station, the superecenter will include EV charging, online pickup and delivery, an auto care center, full-service deli, meat and bakery departments and a pharmacy, among other amenities, according to the statement.
I live across the street from where Walmart will be built. What is the sooonest a person can apply for a job for this new location to open next Spring?
Awesome news! The closest Walmart is a 20 minute drive a closer Walmart was much needed in this area!
