Ontario International Airport is predicting a substantial increase in July 4th passenger traffic this year.
An estimated 117,805 air travelers will use the airport from July 2 through July 7, a 10.3 percent increase compared with 2023, according to a statement on the airport’s website.
Airlines are offering more than 153,000 seats on flights to and from Ontario International, nearly 15 percent more than one year ago.
During the Independence Day travel period, Ontario International officials recommend passengers arrive at the airport two hours before departure time for domestic flights and three hours prior for international flights. Parking should be arranged well in advance of the flight date.
Ontario International officials project 2.1 million passengers will travel through the airport this summer, a 15 percent year-over-year increase, according to the statement.
