Frontier Airlines returned to Palm Springs International Airport Dec. 13 when it began nonstop flights to Denver and San Francisco.
The year-round routes will operate three times a week, according to a statement on Palm Springs’ website.
“We are excited to be back in Palm Springs, the latest in our rapid expansion in the great state of California,” said Josh Flyr, Frontier Airlines spokesman, in the statement. “Our service will provide ultra-low fare options to cost-conscious consumers in the area, providing affordable travel to the Bay Area, the Rocky Mountains, and many destinations beyond.”
Denver-based, Frontier Airlines serves nine markets in California and is one of the fastest growing intrastate carriers. It offers one-way fares as low as $19.
