Signature Barbering, a chain of men’s barber shops, has opened at Inland Center Mall in San Bernardino.
The 1,222-square-foot shop, a full-service operation that offers stylized haircuts and its own line of haircare products, is located near JC Penney near one of the mall’s parking structures, according to a statement.
The shop opened March 13.
The location also offers a 39-hour pre-apprentice program. Anyone who completes that program and obtains a license from the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology may work in the shop full-time while attending school four hours a week.
“It’s a great addition for us, a really good tenant,” said Terri Relf, the mall’s senior marketing manager. “We don’t have a barbershop. It should bring a lot of people into the mall.”
In addition to its Inland Center Mall shop, Signature Barbering operates four shops in Victorville, and one each in Hesperia, Apple Valley and Palmdale, according to the company’s website.
