Starbucks will close four of its Inland Empire stores, part of a shuttering of more than 250 locations throughout North America.
Most of the stores were closed by Sept. 26, only days after the Seattle-based announced the closures but did not say which stores were going out of business, according to multiple reports.
“We have carefully reviewed our North America coffeehouse portfolio and identified locations where we do not believe we can consistently deliver the experience we want for customers and partners or where we don’t see a path to acceptable financial performance,” said Grams, the company’s chief operating officer, in a statement when the closings were first announced.
The 250-plus closings represent about one percent of Starbuck’s 18,000-plus North American stores, Grams noted.
The Inland stores to be closed are 4321 E. Ontario Mills Parkway, Ontario, 291 E. Hospitality Lane, San Bernardino, 29588 Rancho California Road, Temecula, and 1943 North Campus Ave., Upland, according to the reports.
