Riverside will hold a special community meeting for residents who want to learn more about the proposed Riverside Adventure Park and Mixed-Use Town Center Development.
The city is negotiating with Adrenaline Sports Resorts Collaborative to develop the mixed-use development and athletic-adventure park to the Northside neighborhood, according to a statement on the city’s website.
The meeting is scheduled to be held from 10 a.m. to noon April 19 at at the Springbrook Clubhouse, 1011 Orange St., with city officials and representatives from Adrenaline Sports expected to attend.
“This is a great opportunity for community members to learn more about this potential project and engage with the city and the developers,” Mayor Patricia Lock Dawson said in the statement.
As planned, the 126-acre project will be bordered approximately by Columbia Avenue to the south, Orange Street to the east, Main Street to the west, and Garner Road to the north, just north of the 60 Freeway.
Adrenaline Sports has developed similar projects in Alabama, North Carolina and Oklahoma, according to the statement.
