United Airlines is now providing flights from Palm Springs International Airport to Los Angeles International Airport year-round.
Two flights are being offered during peak travel season, while one will be offered daily during the summer, according to a statement on Palm Springs International Airport’s website.
The flights last approximately one hour. Once they arrive in Los Angeles, air travelers can connect to more than two dozen destinations, including Asia, Mexico, and Canada, each with only one stop.
“This year-round service reflects the growing demand we’re seeing at Palm Springs International during ll months of the year,” said Harry Barrett, Jr., executive director of aviation, in the statement. “It strengthens our region’s access to global destinations.”
