Daugherty named ARMCs chief information/digital transformation officer

Andrea Daugherty has been named Arrowhead Regional Medical Center’s chief information and digital transformation officer, a new position.

A 15-year veteran of digital health executive leadership, Daugherty will help spread the use of digital technology throughout the medical center, according to a statement on San Bernadino County’s website.

“Arrowhead Regional’s mission, and San Bernardino County’s commitment to the Inland Empire community, are why this role matters,” Daugherty said in the statement. “Arrowhead Regional has the mission, the people and the momentum to become a model for what digitally enabled public health care can be.”

Before joining Arrowhead Regional, Daugherty developed an artificial intelligence-powered precision health platform that was used to reduce strokes and heart attacks women of color and underserved communities, according to the statement.

Arrowhead Regional is owned and operated by San Bernardino County.
