Sonoma flights out of PSP will start in September

Alaska Airlines’ seasonal flight out of Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) to the Sonoma Valley wine country will start earlier this year.

The airline will launch its nonstop service between PSP and Charles M. Schulz–Sonoma County Airport in Santa Rosa on September 10, six weeks earlier than last year, according to a statement on PSP’s website.

“Our travelers have embraced this route, and we’re thrilled to see Alaska Airlines bring it back even earlier this year,” said Victoria Carpenter, PSPs interim executive director, in the statement.  “As we continue working with our airline partners to expand seasonal and year-round service, our goal remains simple: give our travelers more choices and more convenience from their hometown airport.”

The flights will operate five days a week – Tuesdays and Wednesday will be dark – through April 25, 2027, according to the statement,
