Industrial building planned in Perris

State grant will help Perris

Perris has received $5.5 million in state funding that it will use to renovate a 20-year-old park and build a fire station.

Three million dollars will be used for upgrades at Patriot Park Sports Complex, a 14-acre facility at 525 Murrieta Road, according to a statement.

Improvements will include field upgrades, more parking, and better lighting.

The remaining $2.5 million will be used to build South Perris Fire Station 105 at 2495 Murrieta Road, expected top in the spring of 2028.

Sen. Sabrina Cervantes, D-Riverside, arranged the financing.

“It is an honor to represent the people of Perris and champion investments that strengthen our communities and create lasting opportunities for future generations,” Cervantes said in the statement. “This $5.5 million in funding will help build a safer, stronger, and more vibrant Perris, enhancing public safety and expanding access to outdoor spaces where families can gather.”
