Rod Pacheco, former Riverside County District Attorney, and Virginia Blumenthal, president of the Riverside Community College District board, will serve on a Riverside ethics panel.
The panel, which was selected by the City Council Monday, will review the city’s ethics code, which is nearly 10 years old, and suggest ways to improve and update it, according to a report in The Press-Enterprise.
The code establishes the behavior expected of Riverside’s elected officials as well as its appointed board and commission members.
No meeting is scheduled, but the council asked for recommendations in about three months, the report stated.
