Riverside voters will decide whether some medical marijuana dispensaries should be allowed in the city.
The proposal will appear before voters June 2, following a vote Tuesday by the city council that acknowledged that supporters had gathered enough signatures to get the measure on the ballot, according to a report in The Press-Enterprise.
However, the mayor and four council members will sign an argument against the measure, reaffirming the council’s past opposition to medical marijuana dispensaries, the report stated.
Four council seats – Wards 1,3,5 and 7 – will also appear on the ballot.
