Jack B. Clarke Jr. has been named winner of the 2015 Frank Miller Civic Achievement Award.
Clarke has been active in the Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce, the UC Riverside Alumni Association and the Raincross Group, a non-profit organization that promotes good government and economic growth in Riverside, according to a report in The Press-Enterprise.
In 1992, Clarke was named the first African-American partner at Best, Best & Krieger. He’s being recognized for his work with school districts and other education clients, the report stated.
The Frank Miller award is given out by the Mission Inn Foundation to individuals or organizations that give something back to Inland community in the tradition of Frank Miller, founder of the Mission Inn.
