The Bank of America Charitable Foundation is helping several non-profit entities in the Inland Empire.
The organization recently donated $205,000 to 23 non-profits in Riverside and San Bernardino counties, with the money earmarked for workforce development and education, according to a statement released Tuesday.
Path of Life Enterprises, the San Bernardino Symphony Orchestra, the Community Health Action Network and Arrowhead United Way were among the organizations to receive the grants, which are meant to help low-income individuals and families pay for education and job training.
“The social and economic benefits of employment have been proven time and time again, providing confidence, optimism and stability to our families,” said Al Arguello, Bank of America’s market president, in a statement. “Our philanthropic investments … connect people to the resources they need to lead financially stable lives.
Last year, the foundation donated more than $900,000 to Inland Empire charities, according to the statement.
