Ruthita J. Fike, chief executive officer at Loma Linda University Medical Center, has been named one of the “130 Women Hospital and Health System Leaders to Know” for 2013 by Becker’s Hospital Review.
That publication, which covers the business and legal aspects of the U.S.hospital industry, recently recognized the top female hospital and healthcare officials throughout the country, according to a statement by Loma Linda University Health.
“Having the leader of Loma Linda University Medical Center be recognized as one of the ‘130 Women Hospital and Health Leaders to Know’ is a point of pride for our institution,” said Dr. Richard Hart, president of Loma Linda University Health, in a statement. “Ruthita truly exemplifies leadership, compassion and professionalism in everything she does.”
Fike has served as CEO and administrator of the medical center and executive vice president for hospital affairs at Loma Linda University Health since 2004, according to the report.
