Californians who are planning to get out of town this Labor Day weekend might catch a break at the gas pump.
As of Tuesday, state motorists were paying an average of $3.38 cents for a gallon of regular gasoline, about 45 cents less than they were paying one year ago, according to AAA’s Daily Fuel Gauge Report.
Prices were a little higher in the Inland Empire, where a gallon of regular cost an average of $3.45, a drop of 34 cents a gallon year-over-year, the report stated.
