David Montgomery-Scott has been named Corona’s Library & Recreation Services Director.
Montgomery-Scott, who was selected following a national search, began work Oct. 19, according to a city release.
One of 70 candidates who applied for the job, Montgomery-Scott has extensive experience in municipal recreation.
He held various recreation jobs with Paramount for 17 years, was Norwalk’s recreation superintendent for three years and Rosemead’s parks and recreation director for eight years, according to the statement.
