Temecula has added more than 1,600 jobs dating back to the first quarter of 2014.
The city in Southwest Riverside County now has 50,493 jobs, nearly as many as it’s ever had in its 26-year history, according to a city statement.
“We are proud of the growth we’ve experienced in the job market, and we will continue to work towards creating more [job] opportunities,” Mayor Mike Naggar said in the statement. “We are focused on retaining, attracting and creating jobs here in Temecula.”
The jobs numbers were based on data provided by the state Employment Development Department.
