Industrial Tenants Announced

Stirling Capital has announced the two tenants that have agreed to locate at an industrial building the company is developing at the Southern California Logistics Centre in Victorville.

Arden Cos., a manufacturer of outdoor cushions, furniture and decor, will lease 211,000 square feet of the building, according to a statement released Tuesday.

The remaining 233,740 square feet will be occupied by Newell Brands, which manufactures and distributes food storage and home organization products, according to the statement.

Terms of the leases were not disclosed.

Both leases were announced earlier this year, but the names of both tenants were not announced until both agreements were completed.

Arden Cos. plans to move its manufacturing operation from Rancho Cucamonga, while Newell Brands – formerly Newell Rubbermaid – will use its part of the building for regional and national distribution, according to the statement.

Both companies are expected to move to the new building this fall.

Stirling Capital is a joint venture company based in Foothill Ranch in Orange County. It has developed more than three million square feet of industrial space at the logistics centre, which is the former George Air Force Base.
