Inland Empire Company Adds European Facility

MacroAir, the San Bernardino-based company that manufactures high-volume, low-speed commercial ceiling fans, has opened a European warehouse-distribution operation.

The 25,000-square-foot building in Valencia began operating in May and employs six people, all local hires, said Jaylin Krell, MacroAir’s vice president of marketing.

More workers will be hired to work at the logistics operation as it expands. The facility will serve MacroAir’s growing client base in the European Union, which includes Tesco, IKEA, DHL Express and several airport terminals.

“We have been expanding rapidly throughout Europe over the past few years” said Barry Warner, president of MacroAir, in a statement. “Making our fans readily available in the heart of the [European Union] helps to solidify our growth plan for this part of the world and MacroAir globally.”

MacroAir’s domestic clients include Coca-Cola, NAPA Auto Parts, BMW, Ford Motor Co. and General Motors, according to the statement.
