Guimarin, whose appointment was announced recently, already oversees The San Bernardino Sun, The Inland Valley Daily Bulletin and the Redlands Daily Facts, according to a report in The Press-Enterprise.
Tom Bray, The Press-Enterprise’s managing editor, was named managing editor of the Southern California News Group, which is made up of 11 daily newspapers and websites and more than one dozen community weeklies.
Press-Enterprise Editor Michael Coronado left the company, according to the report.
The Press-Enterprise is owned by Digital First Media in Denver. Digital First Media is the second-largest newspaper company in the United States, with 67 dailies and 180 weeklies in its portfolio.
Collectively, those papers serve about 40 million readers a month, according to the report.
