Stater Bros. Markets will deliver nearly 98,000 pound of food to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County.
The delivery is scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday at the Food Harvest headquarters, 8014 Marine Way in Irvine, according to a statement released Thursday by Stater Bros. Charities.
Food banks typically lose some of their reserves during the summer, so the San Bernardino-based grocery store chain makes donations wherever and whenever it’s most needed, according to the statement.
