Aldi, the discount grocery store chain, will open a store in Chino on Aug. 31.
The event, scheduled to begin at 8:45 a.m., will include a ribbon cutting ceremony, golden ticket giveaway to the first 100 shoppers and a produce-for-a-year sweepstakes, according to a company statement.
ALDI’s eco-friendly bags will also be given away.
The store is at 3840 Grand Ave., and the event is open to all members of the public.
