Riverside-based SolarMax Technology, the renewable energy company, has won a 2016 Global Innovation Award from a consortium that includes the College of Business and Public Administration at Cal State San Bernardino.
The company, which installs solar panel systems, was honored recently for its work with educational clients, according to a statement.
Besides the business school, the award was presented by Riverside and San Bernardino counties economic development agencies, the U.S Department of Commerce and the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Other awards were given out for companies that worked with private businesses, according to the statement.
