Ryan Northcott has been named general manager of Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario.
Northcott, who began work Monday, was most recently booking director at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, according to a statement.
He spent eight years working for the Anschutz Entertainment Group and AEG Facilities, and began his career as an intern at The Arena at the Anaheim Convention Center.
Northcott created a national booking apparatus and doubled the number of concerts at the Oracle Arena during his first two years there, according to the statement.
An Orange County native, Northcott is a graduate of Cal Poly Pomona. He lives in San Marino.
Citizens Business Bank Arena is owned by Ontario. It can accommodate more than 11,000 people for concerts and between 9,000 and 11,000 for sporting events, including hockey, basketball and arena football.
The arena is home to the Ontario Reign, the minor league hockey team that is an affiliate of the NHL Los Angeles Kings.
