Riverside wants to know what its residents would like to see in the city’s new main library.
Public meetings where residents may voice their opinions are scheduled for 5 p.m. on June 15 and July 21 at the Art Pick City Council Chamber, Riverside City Hall, 3900 Main St.
Riverside is designing a new main library, a project it has been considering for more than a decade, according to a statement.
The $30 million project will cover 45,000 square feet on the site of the former bus station, 3911 University Ave., in downtown Riverside. It will feature space for reading, meetings, research and community programs.
Johnson Favaro, a Los Angeles architectural firm, has been selected to design the project, according to the statement.
