Hangar 24, the popular microbrewery near Redlands Municipal Airport, is now the “Official Craft Beer” at Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario.
The partnership, which was announced Monday, gives Hangar 24 a “heavy presence” at the arena, which seats more than 11,000 tickets for concerts and 10,000 for basketball games, according to a statement on the arena’s website.
Several of Hangar 24’s core offerings, including Orange Wheat, Betty IPA and 24 Blonde Ale will be served at arena initially, with more to be added.
Hangar 24 was started in 2008 by brewmaster and amateur pilot Ben Cook. It has since grown into one of the largest breweries in the western United States, having served more than 34,000 barrels of beer last year.
The California Craft Brewers Association recently named Hangar 24 among top 26 production breweries in the state, according to the statement.
